Rose Strang: The Green-Woods Free
Whitespace, Edinburgh

Inspired by the poetry and landscape of the Scottish Borders, ‘The Green-Woods Free’ exhibition and performance launches at Whitespace, 25 Howe Street on the 17th July. Throughout 2015, Rose Strang has been travelling in the Borders as part of a one-year creative project exploring Borders landscape and culture. For this new exhibition, she takes inspiration from the vibrant colours of Borders landscape in spring, from west to east, through forests and hills following the course of the River Tweed to the east coast. All works were created between spring and summer this year.
