Featuring the gallery’s  wide-ranging collection of recent acquisitions by 80  contemporary British  artists, of which about one third are Scottish or Scottish –based. Includes paintings, photographs, sculpture, works on paper, DVD installations and books.  Works by Lucien Freud, Rachael Whiteread and presentations of new works including Christine Borland, Douglas Gordon and Jim Lambie.

Supported by Glenfiddich, the visual arts residency provides  an opportunity to view works by some contemporary artists, including Kenny Hunter and Aberdonian Susan Allison. Also work by Romanian Dan Mihaltianu, photographer Phillipe Bazin and Viennese sculptor Michael Kienzer.
