Salt

A mixed-media exhibition by the Scottish artists’ group, Hanging Together. The show, which includes work by Karen Strang and Peter Russell, explores Culross’s cultural and industrial history – in particular salt panning, coal mining and the town’s trading links with the Baltic countries.

Andy Warhol: Private Drawings from the 1950s

Made at the same time as Warhol was working as a commercial artist, these drawings, made for Warhol’s own pleasure, conjure a demi-monde of gay and transvestite culture.

Sanctuary

A mixed show with an unashamedly strong political message.  Shirin Neshat, Anthony Gormley and Bill Viola and a host of others take on the increasingly problematic global issue of political refugees and asylum seekers.
